Converting Pictures Into Gradients
Okay. lets say you start out with a picture like this...
but you want to change it to something like this...
Okay, Follow these step-by-step instructions...
Step 1
Have your original picture open.First make sure your Tools toolbar is displayed.
You can check this by going to View: Toolbars: Tools.
Click on the Change to Target Tool.
Step 2
Now, you also need to make sure the materials pallette is open.To do this, go to View: Pallettes: Materials.
Now, switch to gradient mode, and pick a gradient from your selection.
For this example, I am using rainbow...
Step 3
Now, if you are still on the change to target brush, change the size andshape of the brush as you please.
Now sweep the brush over your picture with the gradient in place.
Step 5
And, voila! You can now save your new picture.
Note: You can also do this process with
solid colors, patterns, and textures as well. =]
